Gabriela grew up in Switzerland and has lived in Hong Kong, Manila, New York and Dubai before settling back home to Zurich, Switzerland. She has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Berne as well as a master's degree in marketing, communication and services from the University of St. Gallen.
She has interviewed high profile individuals from the world of business, film, music and fashion. Highlights of her work include interviewing celebrities at the annual Zurich Film Festival including Peter Fonda, Michael Keaton, Bob Geldof and Lionel Richie as well as personalities from more business-related fields such as American economist and political thinker, Jeremy Rifkin and Swedish economist and speaker, Kjell Anders Nordström. On a more corporate level she's hosted a variety of high profile and international corporate events for Nissan (Grimaldi Forum Monaco), L’Oréal, JTI, Credit Suisse, Philippine Embassy in Switzerland, Dubai International Health Tourism Forum (DIHTF) and Maurice Lacroix.
Gabriela has presented and produced her own weekly shows such as My Day Dubai for My ZenTV (Paris), The Good Life for Physique TV (UAE), City Pulse (UAE) and Local Success (UAE). She also hosted a maternity "mom-to-be" show, where she welcomed renowned fashion designer Angela Missoni as a guest on her show. As the official partner of the Dubai Jazz Festival, she produced and presented a series of videos including an exclusive interview with Deep Purple and 3 Doors Down.
Her key attribute is versatility as she is equally comfortable and capable of presenting in "lighter" subjects, such as celebrity news or fashion, as she is for more intellectual subjects like business or high arts.
“Harper's Bazaar Best Dressed” and mother of two considers it her biggest joy spending time with family and close friends. Gabriela enjoys an active lifestyle and likes to spend time in nature, hiking, skiing and swimming. Gabriela is a 200-hour yoga alliance certificated yoga teacher and teaches Hatha yoga, pranayama and meditation. She is inspired by literature about personal growth, human connection, life coaching and spirituality.
